Arshaly Welcomes New Active Longevity Center for Older Adults
A new Active Longevity Center has opened its doors in Arshaly. The facility is the tenth of its kind in the Akmola region, designed to support older adults in staying healthy and engaged with their community. The center provides a wide range of services to improve the well-being of local retirees. Visitors can take part in physical activities like therapeutic exercise, yoga, Pilates, and gym sessions. Legal and medical consultations are also available on-site.
Beyond fitness, the facility hosts themed events, team-based activities, and creative workshops. Music lessons and digital literacy courses are offered to help older adults develop new skills. The goal is to keep them active, socially connected, and involved in community life. Similar centers are already running in Kökşetau, Stepnogorsk, Koshy, Zerenda, Tselinograd, Zharkain, Yereymentau, Atbasar, and Akkol. The Arshaly location follows the same model, ensuring residents have access to the same opportunities.
The new center aims to raise the quality of life for older adults in Arshaly. With its mix of health, social, and educational programmes, it provides a space for retirees to stay active and connected. The facility is now open for local residents to use.
