Arizona Collector Drops $1M on Rare Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster—Again

An elderly car enthusiast from Scottsdale, Arizona, has spent $1 million on a rare Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster. The purchase marks his second time owning the same model after regretting the sale of his first. This time, he insists the car will stay in his collection for good.

The man, a seasoned collector, flew from Arizona to Ewing, New Jersey, to buy the hypercar from J&S Auto Haus. The dealership listed the 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster in near-perfect condition, with just 1,000 miles recorded. Its 6.5-litre V12 engine delivers 760 horsepower, allowing it to sprint from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster now joins the owner’s impressive lineup of hypercars. With its limited production and pristine state, the vehicle stands as a centrepiece in his collection. His commitment to keeping it ensures the rare model will stay off the market for the foreseeable future.
