Arbon's New Pump Track to Boost Outdoor Fun Before Summer

Arbon is set to gain a new pump track for bikes, scooters, and skateboards. Construction begins at the end of February, with plans to complete it before the summer holidays. The facility aims to bring people together through active outdoor fun.

The project is part of Arbon's initiative to create more spaces for physical activity. Designed for all ages, the track will welcome children, teenagers, and adults. Its inclusive layout encourages shared experiences while promoting movement.

Work will commence in late February, though nearby residents may notice some temporary disruption. If all goes as planned, the track should open in time for summer. This follows a trend across Switzerland, where cities like Zurich, Bern, Basel, and Lausanne have also built similar facilities in recent years.

Local authorities see the track as more than just a sports space. It will serve as a social hub, giving people a place to meet, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors together.

The pump track will offer a new leisure option for Arbon's community. Once completed, it will join a growing number of similar facilities across Swiss towns. Officials expect it to become a popular spot for active recreation this summer.
