Alfa from AKROPOLE set to shell out over two million euros for the contemporary refurbishment of facilities and installations.
Freshening Up AKROPOLE Alfa: A Million-Euro Makeover
Hear ye, hear ye! The esteemed shopping and leisure complex, AKROPOLE Alfa, is doling out over €2 million to breathe fresh life into its premises and infrastructure this very year. Better yet, this revamp is set to be the biggest since AKROPOLE Alfa joined the AKROPOLE family, ensuring a comfortable and contemporary shopping experience for both patrons and tenants.
Kaspars Beitiņš, CEO of SIA Akropole Latvija, shares his thoughts on these improvements: "By investing in the refurbishment of facilities, enhancing amenities, and seeking solutions for visitor comfort, we're catering to our visitors' demands for a modern and comfy shopping scene."
But wait, there's more! This refurbishment juggernaut won't trigger a speck of inconvenience for the shopping centre's regulars and staff. The work will be conducted in phases, with completion slated by early 2026.
So, What's New at AKROPOLE Alfa?
Parents' Rooms: A Comfy Hangout
The biggest outlay will be on revamping and modernizing the amenities, which will include a sprucing up of spaces and an expansion of facilities. In addition, five spanking new parents' rooms will be constructed, equipped with cuddly sofas, chairs, and the essentials for new moms. Indoor seating areas will also undergo improvements, and greenery will be added to public corridors for a touch of nature. For added convenience, storage lockers will join the amenities area near the Douglas store.
Navigate Effortlessly
Effortless navigation is on the cards as well. A new navigation system concept is in the works for 2022, with modern interactive maps and signs to guide you along. Moreover, the operation of lifts, escalators, and moving walkways is set to improve, making movement a breeze. And let's not forget about the enhanced stormwater system to protect the shopping centre from heavy rainfall risks.
Electric Vehicles Welcome!
The electric vehicle (EV) charging scene is about to level up! A project will kick off this year for installing new charging stations in the shopping centre area, with 20 stations slated for installation in 2023.
