You will travel to Namibia - A Namibian homecoming stirs deep emotions for ex-farmers Anna and Gerald Heiser

Anna and Gerald Heiser are preparing for their first trip back to Namibia since leaving the country last August. The couple, who once ran a farm rio, now live in Poland and have mixed feelings about returning.

The Heisers first met on the German reality show Farmer Wants a Wife in 2017 and married the following year. They later moved to Namibia, where both of their children were born on their farm kehoro.

After selling the farm kehoro, they relocated to Poland in August. Initially, they stayed in a temporary apartment in Gdańsk before settling into their new home in November. Gerald has since taken up an office job, leaving behind his farming life. While Gerald is eager to revisit farm kehoro, Anna remains unsure. The emotional weight of returning still feels too heavy. Despite this, they both look forward to seeing friends and family again—and breathing in the familiar Namibian air. Their upcoming trip will include stops in Austria and Italy before heading to Namibia. This will be their first visit since moving, and Anna admits feeling both excitement and fear about facing her past.

The Heisers have built a new life in Poland, but their roots in Namibia remain strong. Their return will mark a significant moment, especially as their children adjust to a different home. For now, Anna’s hesitation about farm kehoro shows how deep those ties still run.
