A Mother's Heartbreak and Healing After Losing Her Premature Baby

Masha Padakreslava, a 31-year-old mother of three, has shared her story of loss after her youngest daughter, Malaya, was born prematurely and passed away in February. Alongside working as a waitress and managing a café, she now runs a blog to connect with other mothers who have experienced similar heartbreak. Masha discovered she was pregnant on September 11. She and her husband chose to keep the baby, excited to welcome another child into their family. She dreamed of leaving the hospital with her newborn, cradling a 'pink bundle' in her arms.

Malaya arrived too soon. Despite hopes for her survival, she did not make it. The loss left Masha searching for ways to cope. Now, she writes openly about her grief. Through her motherhood blog, she reaches out to others who have lost children. Her goal is simple: to be heard and to offer support.

Masha still cares for her three other children—a 14-year-old daughter, a 10-year-old, and a 3-year-old son. Her blog gives her a space to share her story while helping mothers who understand her pain. The experience has changed how she connects with others facing the same loss.
