The home’s design centres on bold contrasts and meticulous detailing. A dramatic entryway sets the tone, featuring black-and-white Greek key wallpaper paired with chevron wood floors. Throughout the house, deep black tones create a cohesive, moody aesthetic—most notably in the butler’s pantry, where black cabinetry and brass hardware add a touch of luxury.
The heart of the home is a bright, airy kitchen with all-white cabinetry and a richly stained wood island. Nearby, the main sitting area draws the eye with a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows, offering sweeping views of Lake Minnetonka. The entertainment wing provides a space for relaxation, complete with a cocktail bar, lounge seating, and a large-scale movie screen. The Sitting Room team focused on craftsmanship and premium materials at every turn. Their expertise in new builds and remodels ensured a seamless blend of elegance and functionality for the family’s lakeside retreat.
