A German Family’s Dazzling Christmas Hut Lights Up the Holidays
In St. Ingbert, Germany, the Gräf family's Christmas hut has become a beloved local tradition since 2013. Erich and Carina Gräf transform their home into a vibrant light display, attracting visitors from far and wide. The display runs daily from 5 PM to 9 PM, featuring 191,000 LEDs and over 309 LED figures.
The Christmas house in Wiescheid is a sight to behold. Visitors are greeted by a four-meter-tall nativity scene, just one of the many dazzling displays. The light show is powered by a solar power system, ensuring electricity costs are managed responsibly.
The Gräfs serve mulled wine and grilled sausages on Fridays and Saturdays, accepting donations in exchange. All proceeds go to the German Child Protection Association, giving back to the community in more ways than one.
