A 35-Square-Metre Rome Apartment Redefines Minimalist Living

A compact 35-square-metre apartment in Rome has been reimagined by Italian designer Manuela Tognoli. Completed in December 2025, the apartment's layout removes partitions between the living and sleeping areas, creating an airy feel. Tognoli's design balances rigor with intimacy, using materials and colours to define each zone. Now serving as a short-term rental, this minimalist yet comfortable space is a distinctive apartment in the heart of Rome.
