800 Free Christmas Dinners Roll Out to Salzgitter’s Needy in Festive Feast

\ The initiative took place under the leadership of Gianluca Calabrese, chair of SuPer-Salzgitter. With support from just two additional volunteers, the team prepared and distributed dinners both at a central pickup point and directly to people’s homes. The menu featured traditional dishes like roast pork, half-ducks, potato salad, sausages, and seasonal trimmings. \
\ The 2022 edition of Weihnachtsmahl auf Rädern marked another successful year for the community-driven project. With nearly 800 dinners shared, the initiative continues to provide warmth and nourishment during the holidays. Plans for a more comfortable setup in future years are already underway. \
