67-Year-Old Wins 'Combine and Cash In' Puzzle, Ski Season Awaits

Georg Hörmann, a 67-year-old from Altusried, has won the 'Combine and cash in' picture puzzle of the Allgäu Zeitung. The delighted winner described his victory as akin to winning a lottery jackpot.

Hörmann, an avid skier since his youth, plans to use the 1000 euro winnings to purchase a 'Super Snow' card for the upcoming ski season. He aims to hit the slopes more than 50 times this year. This is the first time Hörmann has won the puzzle, despite participating daily. The winning solution word was 'Fruit Fly'. Despite his win, little is known about Hörmann's personal life, including who his mother is.

Georg Hörmann's puzzle victory has allowed him to indulge in his passion for skiing. With the 1000 euro prize, he looks forward to a season filled with snow-covered slopes.
