22nd Annual Pine County Master Gardener Horticulture Day

The 22nd annual Pine County Master Gardener Horticulture Day will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Organisers have opened online registration for the event, which runs from 8:00am to 2:00pm at Pine City High School.

Attendees can register in advance by February 27 for £27, which includes lunch, or £22 without. After this date, the cost rises to £22, though lunch will no longer be provided. Mail-in registrations are also available upon request.

The day begins with a keynote presentation titled *Garden Insects: Friends and Foes*, led by Marissa Schuh, a horticulture Integrated Pest Management (IPM) educator from the University of Minnesota. Following this, six breakout sessions will cover topics like vegetable garden care, hydroponic gardening, and apple tree maintenance. Registration grants access to all sessions, morning refreshments, door prizes, and a garden marketplace with exhibitors. More details and registration links can be found at z.umn.edu/HortDay.

The event offers a mix of expert-led talks and practical gardening workshops. Those interested must register by February 27 to secure the lower rate and meal option. Full details and sign-up links remain available online.
