125 Years of Luxury Sleep: Vispring CEO Martin Gill on Tradition, Luxury, and Craftsmanship

British mattress maker Vispring is preparing for its 125th anniversary in 2026. The company, known for handcrafted luxury beds, will mark the milestone with a year of events and collaborations. Among the highlights is a partnership with an unnamed British designer, set to debut in Milan.

Founded in 1901, Vispring has long been a name in high-end sleep. Its mattresses, made from natural materials like horsetail hair and British fleece wool, were even fitted in the first-class cabins of the Titanic. Today, the brand supplies luxury yachts, private jets, and prestigious hotels, including The Dorchester.

The company recently updated its brand identity with a fresh visual and digital look. A new slogan, *‘Welcome to Vispring. Welcome Home.’*, now reflects its focus on comfort and craftsmanship. Their products, such as the Baronet Superb mattress, are designed to regulate moisture and temperature for a better night’s sleep. Vispring’s achievements also include winning the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. As part of its anniversary plans, the brand will host celebrations and collaborations, with the Milan showcase marking a key moment in 2026.

The 125th anniversary will bring new partnerships and events for Vispring. The brand’s history of luxury and innovation continues, with a renewed focus on natural materials and comfort. The Milan debut with a British designer will be one of the year’s standout moments.
